2016 WCC-KS 3rd Camp Day 13 (09.20)
Participants had WattBike session in the morning. It was a training using training zones established by max minute power testing (MMP Test) of Wattbike in order to watch riders’ heart rate response at the relative exercise intensity. In fact, this training is also effective to improve the rider’s time trialing ability.
In the afternoon, riders continued with the technical development of techniques such as standing starts, sprinting and sprint finishing. Coaches and riders had time to watch and discuss the videos of race finish position. Riders can win or loss by the quality of their sprint finish technique. Lastly, riders concluded their training by practicing and reviewing the newly acquired techniques at competitive situations.
